Last year as the COVID pandemic brought in-person comic conventions to a halt, convention runners and publishers looked to new ways of providing fans with information on where the comic book industry stood. For DC Comics, that event was DC Fandome, which was held in August and September of 2020. Today, with the return of most in-person events not slated until the end of the year, DC Comics announced the return of the virtual event.

This year, Fandome will take place on October 16, 2021.
